Craig y Nos Castle provides accommodation for your guests and a complimentary suite for the bride and groom. Originally a Victorian-Gothic manor house, the Grade I-listed Craig y Nos became a castle when the famous opera singer Adelina Patti bought it in the late 19th century. She added numerous extensions including a bell tower and an opera house in which to rehearse.
This exquisite theatre is licensed for wedding ceremonies and remains a time capsule to its previous owner's elegant 19th century style.
Capacity - 120 seated guests
After your ceremony, the castle provides a magnificent glass conservatory with panoramic views over the Brecon Beacons to host your wedding banquet.
Capacity - 130 seated guests
Decorated with Louis XIV style furniture this room provides the perfect space for music and entertaining after your ceremony. It can also be used for the wedding breakfast and serves an evening buffet.
Capacity - 150 seated guests; 200 for after party.
Craig y Nos Castle provides a sumptous two or three course wedding breakfast with delicious locally sourced ingredients. The castle also provides a buffet in the evening and has a list of recommended suppliers for wedding cakes and other essentials.
Craig y Nos Castle has accommodation for up to 67 guests in the main house and space for a further 20 guests in the Nurses block. A complementary suite is provided for the bride and groom.
