The Coseners House has always had exceptional food and service at the heart of its history. Based in the grounds of the medieval Abbey of Abingdon, the name originated from 'Cuisiner' which was the official responsible place for providing food for the Abbey.

Fast forward to the present day, and it is now a luxury wedding venue for elegant brides and grooms, offering incredible wedding packages and accommodation options. This is an ideal all-inclusive wedding space, so you can comfortably spend your whole day here from morning till night.

The Garden Room

The perfect idyllic space to have a ceremony. Overlooking the expansive lawn, have some alfresco delectable canapés and champagne whilst waiting for your reception.

The Hamilton Room

For those who want an intimate celebration of their closest friends and family, make sure you check out the beautiful space of the Hamilton Room.

The Dining Room

The main dining room is the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and reception. Have an incredible banquet prepared for you by their in-house chef.

Wedding guest capacity - 80 guests

You can also have a lavish marquee reception on the lawns of up to 100 guests.

Catering

The in-house hospitality team have created a sumptuous culinary collection for you to try in your complimentary food tasting.

Start the day with delicious canapés of smoked salmon or old spot pig sausages. Then progress to a delicious three course wedding breakfast which could have buffalo mozzarella to start, slow cooked pork belly for main and an indulgent chocolate mousse to finish.

An evening buffet or barbecue selection is also available for those who want food to be at the heart of their day.

Accommodation

With 50 elegant bedrooms and a luxury bridal suite for the bride and groom, both yourself and your wedding guests can relax in style.
