Susan Meredith fell in love with vintage items from a very young age. As a young girl, she used to drink tea from her grandmother's special china. When she held the beautiful tea pot, she began to wonder about its previous owners and its links to history. Little did she know this had sown the seeds for her later years, when her love for vintage items turned into a business. After helping her daughter with wedding decoration, it spurred her on to begin Chew Valley Treasures and she began sourcing vintage items from country house estate sales.
