With a converted 732-year-old Chapel at the heart of the Estate, brimming with historic charm and surrounded by picturesque Kentish countryside, this family-run independent privately gated wedding venue has been meticulously crafted as a luxurious, contemporary space exclusively for your special day.

The multi-award-winning team has invested over £6m in the Estate to create the perfect luxury Kent wedding venue, that includes a helicopter pad!

With two exclusive-use venues available on-site, couples can choose from a large wedding with 60 plus guests in the Thorne Barn or opt for a more informal intimate wedding in the secluded Walled Courtyard and No 9 Restaurant.

The Wild Apple Orchard

The Wild Apple Orchard, nestled beside the stunning Chapel House Arts & Crafts Style Garden, offers a naturally beautiful green space perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies, blessings, and vow renewals. Licensed during British Summer Time, it provides a serene setting that mirrors the changing seasons, adding a touch of tranquillity and charm to your special day.

The Old Malt Granary

The airy, rustic traditional old Kent barn, known as The Old Malt Granary is permanently set up for indoor ceremonies on The Chapel House Estate. This converted former working farm building, next door to Thorne Barn ensures that no matter what the weather or time of the year you will always have a wet weather or plan B contingency on your big day.

The Walled Courtyard

The secluded Walled Courtyard offers you the opportunity to hold an intimate wedding on the Chapel House Estate. This magical, sun-filled spot provides a quiet backdrop to celebrate with your nearest and dearest and includes a private lounge bar, perfect for cocktails, outdoor seating, a greenhouse and the award-winning No 9 Restaurant.

This state-of-the-art purpose-built ‘white box’ banqueting barn, featuring banqueting tables, offers a stunning venue for larger weddings. With air conditioning, a spacious bar and a private ‘green room’ cocktail bar, along with a terrace boasting an outdoor fire pit, ample space for a DJ, and a band, it sets the stage for the perfect after-party celebration.

Beauty Lodge and Massage Room

The Beauty Lodge and Massage Room offer the ideal relaxing space for one of the partners to prepare for the day ahead. Carpark The onsite car park offers convenient overnight parking for wedding guests, complete with ten multiple electric charging points.

Food and Drink

The team at Chapel House Estate understands that food and drink are central to any wedding day so offer an exceptionally exciting menu created by their award-winning Head Chef using seasonal and local ingredients. They have menus for every element of your day: canapes, wedding breakfast, and evening food that includes Wood Fired Pizzas. In addition, the cocktail menu is made, where possible, using local ingredients.

Packages

At Chapel House Estate, the team prioritises making your experience all about you. Recognising that traditional packages may not always suffice for couples looking for a luxury wedding, the team therefore offers bespoke services tailored to meet the unique needs of each couple. However, they also provide Twilight, Intimate, or Last Minute Wedding Packages for couples who prefer alternative options.

Chapel House Estate has accommodation on-site with the potential to sleep 34 plus children.

Chapel House

Chapel House offers a luxurious honeymoon suite with access to a private terrace overlooking the serene garden. In addition, the house features three double rooms and a bunk room. The converted 1290 chapel also includes two private sitting rooms and a kitchen. For couples travelling with pets, there's also a convenient 'boot room' where furry companions can stay overnight. The house is surrounded by stunning, drought-resistant gardens that provide the perfect backdrop for those champagne tower and drinks reception moments.

Chapel Cottage

This cosy cottage on the edge of the Estate enables one of partners to check into the Estate the night before the wedding. The cottage includes three bedroom rooms (two double and one bunk bed) plus includes a kitchen and cosy sitting room.

Hideaway Lodges

For couples guests there are nine Hideaway luxury self contained Lodges. Each lodge has a large bed, ensuite bathroom, private veranda with views across the West Paddock meadow.

    My husband and I recently got married at Chapel House Estate. It was the most wonderful day. Myself and my bridesmaids enjoyed the morning getting ready in the bridal lodge before heading to the main house to put our dresses on whilst my fiancé and his groomsmen landed into Chapel House Estate via helicopter. We married in The Old Malt Granary with a singer, candles and rose petals it was honestly breath taking so much so that I cried my way down the aisle. We enjoyed canapes and drinks in the Walled Courtyard with all of our family and friends before heading up to Thorne Barn where we all enjoyed the most amazing wedding breakfast cooked by chef Sammy and his team. We then danced the night away. The staff at Chapel House were fantastic from the day we booked our wedding right the way through to our wedding day. All of our guests absolutely loved Chapel House, like us they thought it was the most wonderful day and venue.

    We booked our wedding earlier this year, the communication and commitment to deliver our perfect day right from the start was incredible. Sam & the team of staff really are a great bunch. The day itself was absolutely perfect. We had pre drinks in the courtyard as guests arrived, were Married in the Orchard, Canapes & Fizz in the stunning gardens, and the Wedding Breakfast and party in the Barn. The day went along at a beautiful pace and we didn't once feel flustered or rushed. Our family and friends all commented on how incredible to the venue was, and how it made such a wonderful day even more special. A truly beautiful place, with a team of staff that are incredibly attentive and professional. We absolutely loved it!

  • Beautiful wedding venue A & T

    Recently had the absolute pleasure of having our intimate wedding at Chapel House. It truly was the most amazing experience getting ready in the main house itself in the morning and walking down the aisle through the beautiful Wild Apple Orchard, where the Oak Gazebo had been beautifully presented with flowers and our most treasured family and friends. Newly married, we enjoyed champagne on the lawn with our guests, followed by a phenomenal Afternoon Tea in the No9 restaurant in the private Walled Courtyard. The staff at Chapel House were truly amazing, ensuring our day went smoothly and without any problems - we could not fault them. The coordinator, Sam was just amazing with ensuring the planning of our day was how we dreamed and she worked with the most amazing vendors to bring our magical day to life. The grounds of the Estate are absolutely gorgeous and are truly picturesque, with an abundance of choices for photographs. To stay as a married couple within the main house, was absolutely amazing. The honeymoon suite is gorgeous, with the freestanding copper bath in the bedroom and beautiful shower, we were spoilt for choice. The balcony was like a secret bliss of paradise and perfect for morning coffees. We felt totally at home throughout our stay and the staff left us to be alone in the house, with no-one disturbing us except for a delivery of croissants and natural yoghurt and granola in the mornings (Yum!). Would definitely recommend to any future couple looking to have the wedding of their dreams!
