About

Nikki and Lee are a husband-and-wife team who celebrated their wedding in a field in 2015, loving it so much they decided to embark into the world of outdoor weddings and events.

They have an incredible little black book of contacts that can help you put together and complete your wedding day, whether that be floral arrangements or the boring stuff like bathrooms!

They cover a wide range of areas including Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Berkshire and Hampshire.

The Stratus

Introducing The Stratus, a remarkable and versatile structure known as the kata or giant hat tipi. This magnificent tipi is designed to adapt to your event's needs, offering a range of configurations and seating options. As a standalone tipi, The Stratus boasts a diameter of 10.3 meters and can comfortably seat up to 72 guests with all sides lowered. However, the true magic lies in its flexibility. By raising the sides, you can create an even more spacious and open atmosphere, allowing for a truly immersive experience.

The Stratus tipis have the incredible ability to join together, enabling you to accommodate larger gatherings. For instance, when three Stratus tipis are seamlessly connected, they can seat an impressive 150 people. This configuration not only provides ample seating but also offers space for additional features such as a dance floor, stage, and bar, ensuring a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

The Cirrus

The Cirrus, also known as the Kungsörnen, is a slightly smaller version of the Stratus tipi. This versatile structure can be set up independently or connected to a Stratus tipi, offering flexibility in creating your desired event space.

With an 8.5-meter diameter, the Cirrus provides a cosy atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for a bar area or chill-out seating. Its intimate setting is perfect for creating a warm and inviting ambiance, especially when complemented by an open fireplace. Whether you're hosting a smaller event, a garden party, or a celebration, the Cirrus stands as a charming standalone tipi option, accommodating your gathering with comfort and style.

Canvas & Light's quote includes a variety of essential elements to make your wedding truly memorable. As part of their standard package, they provide flooring, tables, chairs, and lighting, along with a host of optional extras that you can choose to enhance your celebration.

Tables and Chairs

With solid wooden folding trestle tables feature a stunning neutral beech finish, their tables an elegant touch to your event. Accompanying these tables are our stylish beech wooden chairs, ensuring your guests are seated comfortably throughout the occasion.

Each table can accommodate up to 6 guests when paired with chairs or up to 8 guests with benches. Their folding beech wood chairs are designed with a neutral cream seat pad, allowing them to seamlessly blend with any colour scheme you have in mind. Moreover, both the tables and chairs are foldable, providing flexibility to create more space for dancing or other activities during your celebration.

Lighting

Lighting plays a crucial role in setting the ambiance for your special day. Canvas and Light include twirling fairy lights around the tipi poles, creating a magical atmosphere. However, they do believe in offering you creative freedom, so you can further adorn the poles to reflect your personal style. Garlands of foliage are a popular choice, providing a touch of natural elegance to the space.

Indoor Fire Place

To create a cosy and intimate ambiance, consider adding one of their indoor fire pits to your wedding, especially during the colder evenings. This beautiful feature serves as a focal point, captivating the attention of your guests. Rest assured; safety is their top priority. Their indoor fire pits come with smokeless logs, a fire extinguisher, kindling, and fire starters, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
