The barn’s rustic character is enhanced with modern comforts, creating a versatile backdrop that moves seamlessly from ceremony to dining to evening celebrations. Guests can gather in the garden for vows beneath the open sky before moving into the warmth of the barn for the wedding breakfast and dancing.

The venue is designed for intimacy, comfortably hosting 40 to 60 guests for ceremonies and up to 80 for a reception. Practical features include a private changing lodge for the wedding party, disabled access, ample parking, and thoughtful touches like biodegradable confetti.

The Courtyard

The Courtyard is a stylish entrance to your celebration, where guests can relax with welcome drinks and enjoy the elegant lounge seating. Its charming details and picturesque Byre Barn cart make it the perfect spot for mingling and photographs.

Stillman Lodge

Stillman Lodge is a peaceful retreat, exclusively available from 8am on the wedding day. With plenty of natural light and refreshments provided, it offers the ideal space for morning preparations and intimate “getting ready” moments.

Indoor Ceremony

The Indoor Ceremony space provides a timeless, flexible canvas for couples to create their own atmosphere. Expected to open in 2026, it will offer a beautiful backdrop for vows styled with flowers, candles, or a minimalist touch.

Rose Arbor Ceremony

Surrounded by greenery, the Rose Arbor is a romantic outdoor ceremony space. Its natural shade, side aisle, and floral charm create a botanical atmosphere that is perfect for summer weddings.

The Walled Garden

The Walled Garden is a private, flower-filled haven full of colour and character. With its peaceful atmosphere and hidden corners, it offers a tranquil retreat and an enchanting setting for photographs.

The Garden Rose Bar

At the heart of the garden sits the Garden Rose Bar, a rustic focal point with its wooden frame, beer tub, and popular ice cream station. This quirky space adds fun and charm to the day’s celebrations.

The Barn

The Barn itself is the centrepiece of the venue. With vaulted ceilings, warm wood burners, and soft natural light, it blends rustic character with modern style. The space can host up to 60 seated guests for a banquet, with room for dancing and a full Banyan Bar, plus an additional 20 evening guests.

Catering

Food lies at the heart of the Byre Barn experience. Award-winning chef Matt Sworder and his team at The Corner House Kitchen are known for their philosophy of “simple food, done well.” Couples can expect menus that celebrate Kent’s seasonal produce, crafted into dishes that feel both elegant and comforting.

Unique catering experiences elevate the day further, from homemade ice cream stations to outdoor bars and curated wine pairings sourced from local vineyards. Every couple is guided through the planning process to ensure their menu reflects their personality and story. This commitment to seasonal, locally inspired dining makes food not just part of the wedding, but one of its most memorable highlights.
