About

We The Curious is one of the UK's largest and most exciting science centres.

As part of the regeneration of Bristol's Floating Harbour, We The Curious was set up back in 2000 as a charity organisation, and has subsequently attracted many thousands of visitors and played host to many prestigious events.

Wander inside the We The Curious building, and you can let your imagination run wild in the hands-on science centre. Then venture on into the calm, modern function rooms with their sleek and contemporary architecture, filled with natural daylight and featuring terraced balconies overlooking Bristol Cathedral and Millennium Square.

Situated in the thriving Harbourside, We The Curious has become a iconic landmark of the city. From the stunning chrome-sphered Planetarium to the many public works of art in Millennium Square, it presents a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos.

The Planetarium

Want to get married under a backdrop of stars? Bristol's iconic Planetarium will offer brides and grooms a completely unique ceremony. The dome will be entirely lit up with glittering stars and spectacular images of space, and guaranteed to wow your guests. This is a truly romantic, and memorable, way to start your marriage.

The Rosalind Franklin Room

Situated on the top floor of We The Curious, the Rosalind Franklin Room has a private bar, fantastic views, and plenty of space for all of your friends and family. This versatile space can cater for a classic or modern wedding breakfast with oodles of style.

Evening reception capacity - 480 guests

The Annexe

The Annexe is a bright room right at the top of We The Curious. From here you can reach the rooftop, which is an ideal spot for drinks and canapés. Of course, don't forget about the photographs, as these views are some of the most photogenic in all of Bristol.

We The Curious' mouth watering cuisine is produced, presented and served by excellent catering company Elior. With years of experience working with We The Curious, Elior has fine-tuned its collaboration with the events team at the venue, and together they can offer you a fantastic bespoke wedding menu tailored to your precise requirements.
