Boconnion invites you to make a weekend of your wedding and share its timeless charm with family and friends as if it were your own. With acres of lawn and numerous traditional outbuildings at your exclusive disposal, Boconnion offers you a blank canvas for all seasons.

Working closely with Cornwall wedding planner Caroline Griffiths, her industry knowledge and organised yet enthusiastic approach will allow you to bring your wedding celebrations to life. Caroline will be on hand for support and guidance throughout your wedding planning process, providing you with useful planning guides along with the best of Cornwall’s wedding suppliers.

Facilities

Boconnion can accommodate weddings of all sizes from 12 - 250 and offers plenty of space for marquee weddings which can be placed in several different locations on the estate. The wedding itself or evening celebrations can take place in the Barton Barn which can seat up to 90 for your ceremony or sit-down wedding breakfast with a capacity for up to 250 guests over two floors for your evening reception.

Barton Barn

Discover the enchanting Barton Barn at Boconnion, a truly magical setting for your indoor ceremony and reception. The exposed beams provide the perfect canvas for your personal touch, while the stunning slate floor beckons you to dance the night away in celebration. With a capacity of 80 seated guests on the top floor or 90 on the ground floor, the Barton Barn is ideal for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. As the night unfolds, let the Barton Barn come alive with your reception. With a capacity of 250 people across two floors, there is ample room for a dance floor, live band or DJ, and cosy corners to savour the cake and catch up with loved ones.

Tipi and marquee weddings

If you’re looking for a truly blank canvas wedding venue, spend your wedding day in a marquee or tipi! Available for intimate weddings of 40 to big family affairs of 250, you have the choice of location throughout the grounds of the estate.

Country House Elopements

For decadent yet understated luxury. Built in the 18th century, the grand Georgian country house is the perfect setting if you are looking for luxury. The living and dining room in the Manor House can seat 17 of your nearest and dearest and will offer you a formal yet intimate celebrant wedding celebration.
