History
Berwick Lodge was built towards the end of the reign of Queen Victoria, circa 1890, and well and truly reflects the opulent architectural fashion of the time. Presenting an impressive red-brick Gothic facade, the post-industrial-era edifice appears absolutely stunning nestled in the heart of the serene Berwick Wood.
Today the property is owned and run by Sarah Arikan who, along with husband Fevzi, purchased the then dilapidated building back in 2004. They subsequently invested in a labour of love and worked tirelessly for five years in bringing Berwick Lodge back to its former glory.
