Though it's location in the capital means that it can be easily accessed by the many forms of transport in London, Belair House is far from a busy city venue. You'll feel as though you are nestled in the rolling countryside as you stand on the terrace, glass of Champagne in hand, overlooking the lush greenery of Belair Park.
The grounds that Belair House stands on today were once farmlands, with the property built in 1785 by John Willes. This house was first named College Place, but this was changed to Belair following Willes's death.
Today, after extensive refurbishment, Belair House has been restored to its original Georgian interior. Amongst the gorgeous greenery of Belair Park, with a winding lake running through the Park's centre, the house offers a beautiful setting for your wedding day.
Belair's licensed ceremony room, The Ballroom is a beautiful space in which to exchange your vows. The large windows and balcony allow for plenty of natural light, and offer stunning views across Belair Park.
Situated opposite The Ballroom on the first floor of Belair House, The Gallery Bar can be an additional room for your guests to make use of during your evening reception.

The most popular space for a wedding breakfast, The Dining Room is on the ground floor of Belair House. Following your wedding ceremony in The Ballroom, take the grand red-carpeted spiral staircase down to the wedding breakfast, making for a wonderful photo opportunity.
The Cocktail Bar makes for the perfect space for guests looking for a quieter place to mingle during your wedding day. With comfy sofas, ornate bronze tables and an open fire for the colder months, this room could also be used for your drinks reception. Their bespoke cocktail menu offers a range of drinks for guests to enjoy in the bar or out on the attached terrace.

Belair is a stunning and historic country house but within half an hour of central London…perfect! From start to finish, we received a warm, friendly and professional service from the Events Team and the other teams at Belair House. It felt like a really personal experience – each staff member showed real enthusiasm and cared that our Special Day went just as we wanted it. They'd taken us step by step through the planning process, showing patience and calming our nerves. Then on The Big Day, they ensured that everything went smoothly…from decorations to toasts to shepherding guests. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves! Our guests were really impressed with the beautiful venue, the food and drink, and the DJ that Belair had recommended to us. We would 100 per cent recommend Belair House to make any special occasion truly magical!
We had our wedding reception here in September and the whole process with Belair house and their events management team was great! Always so accommodating to any queries and requests we had leading up to the day and allowed us to mostly get on with it and make the day our own as well as making sure that things ran smoothly! I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and everything was wonderful. I was so happy with how everything came together on the day. It's such a nice venue for London as it really feels like you are in the middle of the countryside but is really close to central London. It feels very spacious with the use of the ballroom and bar area upstairs and the big terrace off the ballroom enabled us to still be able to enjoy the nice weather. Everyone really enjoyed the food and service was good. I'd definitely recommend.
