Originally part of a plant nursery, the venue has retained its natural, laid-back feel while providing couples with the freedom to design a wedding that truly reflects their style. Acorn Barn is licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, allowing couples to host their entire celebration in one picturesque location. Exclusive use of the venue ensures privacy and flexibility throughout the day.

Facilities

The heart of the venue is the spacious wooden barn, which can be styled for wedding breakfasts, evening receptions and dancing. Large doors open out onto the surrounding gardens, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.

The mature gardens are ideal for outdoor ceremonies, drinks receptions, garden games and wedding photography, with scenic countryside views in every direction.

In addition to the main barn, there is a former coffee shop building on site that can be used as a bar area, reception space or a quieter retreat for guests. The venue is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and includes on-site toilet facilities, including accessible options, with support from the venue team available for setup and pack-down if required.

Catering

Acorn Barn operates on a dry-hire basis, giving couples complete freedom when it comes to food and drink. You are welcome to choose any caterer you wish.
