About

Depending on the lineup you choose, ACDarts can include a number of authentic African instruments including the djembe hand-drums, the endingidi tube-fiddle, the adungu harp, the entongoli bowed lyre, the enkwanzi panpipes, and the akogo thumb-piano.

ACDarts provide these instruments and a vibrant lively atmosphere at weddings and parties across the South East.

Whether you share African heritage or simply want to put on some extraordinary wedding entertainment, this incredible wedding band fits the bill!

Dressed in traditional African garments, they will certainly set the scene. The flexible troupe of musicians and dancers can appear as anything from a solo performance to a huge 12-piece ensemble with choreographed dancing for all of the guests to join in.

Repertoire

ACDarts' regular wedding performances typically showcase a wide range of traditional and modern African songs and tunes with shared cultural origin, but a particular speciality in Ugandan melodies and dances such as Mwana Wange and Tweyanze Ngoma.

Their repertoire can include storytelling, singers and dance choreographers, offering a truly immersive experience for your wedding guests and they can play for up three hours.

Performance and Audio

This excellent band is perfect for creating a sizzling hot festival atmosphere, simply ideal for playing outdoors or in large spaces.

Dressed in traditional garments, they would perfectly create a buzzy atmosphere at an alfresco drinks reception or for the evening reception. Alternatively, they would also be ideal for ceremonies, creating a unique ambience, yet still emphasising the romance of the celebration.

You can select the size of band required, which usually reflects the number of guests attending your wedding and whether or not you want dancers involved.

Performances include a range of drumming and other instruments if you have chosen to have them, and as a band experienced in hosting dance workshops, ACDarts are guaranteed to have your guests up and dancing in no time!

What can I say about the ACDart's singers? They were simply amazing. They were everything I wanted and more, their singing was breath-taking, as was the joy and happiness they brought with them when they sang. They were every I had wanted and much more. They made the day very special and they were my favourite part. All the guests were blown away as they came down the aisle. I'm glad people took videos so I can watch it for myself. They also did an extra performance for us whilst we were eating and said some lovely things to myself and mike. If I had my day over again I would not hesitate to have them back. I still get emotional thinking about it now. They were lovely nice people who looked and sounded fantastic who looked like they were enjoying themselves as well. The guests are still talking about them now and I think for many more months/years to come!
