Warmwell House

Warmwell House, a Jacobean manor nestled in the heart of Hardy’s Dorset, is an ideal venue for weddings, receptions, family gatherings, or private events. This historic location exudes hidden charm and offers a unique setting for any occasion.

Whether you prefer to cosy up by the fire in Winter or explore the grounds in Summer, Warmwell House provides the perfect backdrop for memorable celebrations in the beautiful countryside.

Facilities

Warmwell House is the ideal place for a true Dorset wedding, at the 13th century Holy Trinity church or indeed at the house itself. Enjoy your champagne reception in the Georgian Square Garden with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. There’s an ideal space here for a traditional marquee for your Wedding Breakfast and speeches. As evening starts to fall, guests head over to the Coach House for dancing, a rustic bar and chill-out space. There’s also a luxury amenity block with loos, pamper area and shower just a few steps from the Coach House which makes things so much easier if the weather doesn’t behave itself!

All this has been designed with convenience in mind and to give a natural and varied flow to the day, making the most of the different aspects of the garden. The provision of the marquee is at your expense but this means that you get just want you want – the furniture, lighting, lining, carpet and accessories can be hand-picked by you to achieve exactly the look you’ve been dreaming of.

The team can provide all the planning you need for your big day. They have tried and tested contacts with top quality local caterers and florists, photographers and musicians so you can plan your day to suit your personal taste. They will work with you to help you make the most of this superb venue and create a memorable day. The in-house wedding co-ordinator is on hand during your wedding day to check things run smoothly, just as you would like them to.

Ceremony

There are three rooms in the house which have been licenced for a Civil Ceremony. Alternatively, the Coach House (see below) makes a great setting for a ceremony for up to 120 guests.

Reception

The beautifully restored Coach House is the perfect place for your band, dancing and bar. There’s also a cosy chill-out area (seats about 24) with a fun, retro, vibe and a side hall where you can lay out night-food. Safe from the Great British Weather, the luxury toilet block is just across the courtyard. Please note that the manor house is not open to guests (except house guests) once the party has commenced.

Accommodation

Accommodation for up to 24 people on site (minimum 12). You might also like to have some bell-tent glamping on site. There is a charming woodland area at the top of the garden which makes the perfect spot and glampers have use of the main loo block with shower, charging points and hairdryers. A food or coffee truck in the Kitchen Garden is a great way of making your glamping guests feel special.
