The Bath County Recreation Ground Company (Ltd) commissioned the building of the Pavilion in 1910. It was originally known as the Somerset County Skating Rink and offered a space to roller-skate while listening to live music. You could also enjoy food and drink here!
In 1930, Bath and North Somerset Council bought the skating rink and renamed it The Bath Pavilion. It then became a music concert hall and has since played host to such big names as The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Paloma Faith, Lily Allen, Oasis, Blur and many more.
