The Huntsman is arguably one of the oldest buildings in the city of Bath, and one of the prettiest too! It was built between 1748 and 1750 by John Wood the Elder. The front of the building has undergone many changes over the years, however the intricate masonry detail has remained the same in this iconic building.
The building was given a Grade II-listing in 1950. In 2012, The Huntsman was bought by the brewer Fuller, Smith and Turner who invested in a considerable refurbishment.
