History
The Coopers Arms is situated inside the great Weston Hall, a 17th century mansion steeped in a rich history.
The construction of the hall was originally undertaken by Anthony Roper in 1628 but had to stop short at the outbreak of civil war in the 1640s. Once Parliamentary troops were even garrisoned here, their horses stabled where the bar now resides.
Now ran by a dedicated team of staff, The Cooper Arms is a wonderful country pub and restaurant hosting many public and private events, including conferences, banquets and of course weddings. The venue also offers fishing at its serene fishing lake amongst the beautiful landscaped gardens.
