Conveniently situated in the heart of Ashley Down in North Bristol, the Bristol Pavilion is a multifaceted venue created as a part of Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground's recent modern additions. Their collection of contemporary wedding spaces sport views over the grass that has seen countless cricket legends - including W. G. Grace - come and go.

Sport and cricketing aside, it's a perfect, light and airy venue that can host weddings of all shapes and sizes, from 10-320 guests. The Pavilion’s expert events team add great little touches readily available in-house, such as uplighters to match your colour scheme, part of their all-round comprehensive planning service.

History

The Bristol Pavilion forms part of Bristol County Ground – or Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, whose history spans as far back as the late 19th century. In actual fact, the sports grounds were established in 1889 by iconic cricketing legend W. G. Grace.

The Pavilion that we enjoy today was completed in 2013, having been designed as an integral part of Bristol County Ground's redevelopment scheme, which has in the process seen the addition of multiple state-of-the-art conference and event facilities.

The Premier Lounge

This attractive wedding space features airy floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, which afford views over the cricket square, and its very own balcony. It comes as no surprise that it's the venue’s most popular room for civil marriage ceremonies.

The Grace Room

For larger events, this room has a large glass frontage, again with great views across the ground, and you can wander out onto the balcony to take in the sights even further.

Jessop Room

Found on the ground floor, the Jessop Room can seat up to 150 guests for a civil ceremony, and has double doors leading out onto the concourse area.

Hospitality Boxes
Two of the venue's hospitality box suites are ideal more intimate wedding days, including the 2C, which can seat up to 15 for a civil ceremony and 12 for a reception, and the 3C which can seat 25 for a civil ceremony.

You can also take advantage of the venue’s outdoor spaces – ideal when the weather is good, offering amazing photographic opportunities.

Catering

Delicious cuisine at The Pavilion is produced by a specialist team of in-house chefs.

Imagine your guests tasting a delectable range of canapés with Pimms or Prosecco upon arrival, then sitting down to a carefully-prepared three-course meal, followed by fresh tea and coffee, and finished off with Champagne and Prosecco for your toasts.

The Evening Do

A dancefloor is provided, along with your own private bar for the evening celebration.

The Bristol Pavilion currently have an incredible late availability offer for those of you looking to book a 2018 summer wedding. Running for weddings in July, August, September and October, the comprehensive offer covers your entire reception, from the wedding breakfast to the evening celebrations for only £2500.

Based on a minimum of fifty guests, the offer includes; a two-course set menu wedding breakfast, a glass of prosecco to toast, DJ and Disco for the evening and your own dedicated wedding coordinator.

White Wedding

For those of you who are longing for the quintessential 'white wedding', there are no season that pulls this look off better than winter. Fortunately for those brides, The Bristol Pavilion are offering a fantastic winter weddings offer, running until February of 2019 (December 2018 excluded).

From only £2,000 and based of a minimum of 50 guests, your winter wedding package will include: a dedicated wedding coordinator, 3 course wedding banquet, venue space and much more!
