  The whole day was perfect. Upon greeting the staff, you feel warm and welcomed.
  The layout and and precision of our whole day was exactly how we wanted it to be. There was no hanging around for our guests, nothing was ever a problem for the staff present at the hotel. The honeymoon suite was a well presented room, with ample space, and a feeling of luxury. We would also like to give a special mention to the wedding coordinator, Helen Strachan. In the build up to our big day she was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering any questions we had. On the day itself she made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be visiting for our 1st anniversary in 2019. Thank you.

  We had our Wedding at the Alverton nearly 2 weeks ago. Everything from start to finish was perfect and we cannot thank everyone enough. We had an incredible day and loved every single second. The staff were brilliant and worked their socks off, the venue itself gives me butterflies every time I walk in. The great hall is breath taking and all our guests walked around the venue is awe of its beauty and history. We cannot wait to come back and stay again soon.

  We got married at the Alverton two days ago. I could not have wished for a better venue or better staff. Everyone was incredible, so kind and were always on hand to answer questions. They all really made our day a day to remember. I can never thank them enough for all they have done for us over the planning period and of course on our big day.

  We chose The Alverton as the venue for our wedding day back on the 25th August 2017 after falling in love with the place and getting married there has only made us love it even more!
  We met Helen only a week or 2 before our wedding after Catherin leaving and were not worried at all we knew everything would be in safe hands and we were not wrong! Nothing at all was too much trouble through the planning stage.
  We had guests with dietary needs who were accommodated with no problems and a few of our guests required ground floor rooms which was also sorted for them.
  We really did not have to worry about anything at all on the wedding day. Helen came upstairs to the bridal suite to keep checking in to see if anyone needed anything and checked to make sure things were all going ok.
  The day was so well organised & the wedding breakfast service and food were both amazing. The room also looked beautiful and our colours worked so well with the decor! All of our guests were so impressed many haven't been there before or even knew it was tucked away off the road!
  We loved the day so much we came back for a meal in the restaurant a week later to celebrate and again everything was amazing! We will be back next year for our anniversary! :)

  I literally can't explain how perfect our wedding day was! Helen took over in the last few months of our planning and nothing was too much hassle for her. We had a huge Harry Potter theme with so many details which she along with the other staff made into our dream wedding. The whole day went past in a magical blur, it was amazing! The venue itself is beautiful and the room we had the night before was stunning. The food was delicious for every meal! My daughter loved her huge stack of pancakes for breakfast and my Husband (eek!) had talked about the goujons for months before our big day and wasn't disappointed when huge bowls of them came out at the reception.
  Thank you to every member of staff we saw on our big day and before, you made our wedding day the best day of our lives.
