About/History
Built in 1911 for Colonel Coghill and his wife, Tern Hill Hall is believed to have been a wedding present for the happy couple. During World War two, the property was used for service men and then later in the 1950s the hall was transformed into a hotel.
More recently in 2013, the hall went through a stunning refurbishment of the ground floor and first floor. Here the new Ballroom and Orangery were designed and built, creating a whole new dynamic to this historic property.
Ran by the Marson Family, this exclusive-use venue plays host to many weddings, events and special occasions, with addition to holding concerts and themed evenings throughout the year. There are big plans for more refurbishment in the future to the top floors and stunning six-acres of land.
