Somerset Yurts is operated by Mark and Emma Cavill, the amazing husband and wife team who have grown the family dairy farm into a thriving glamping site. Originally working in the South East of England, the family decided to up sticks and move back to Mark's family farm in Taunton, Somerset.
The site is home to over 150 dairy cows and offers spectacular views over the Vale of Taunton to the Blackdown Hills. As a glamping site and events venue the space offers luxury accommodation for 32 guests, featuring five yurts and two safari lodges.
Facilities
The Dutch Barn
This traditional barn is still used to store hay throughout the winter months. In the summer though, it can be transformed into a glittering reception venue. The space is yours to decorate and fill as you see fit.

The Farm
Somerset Yurts is situated in a vast amount of farmland that can be utilised as space for a marquee. Ask Mark and Emma for their reliable list of local suppliers.

Catering
Somerset Yurts is a self-catered venue but Mark and Emma will do everything they can to make finding a caterer a hassle-free experience. Their recommended suppliers include a hog roast expert, a Somerset-based pizza stall, a local barbecue company and Mr Mikey's ice cream vans to hire.
Accommodation
Primarily a glamping site, Somerset Yurts has plenty of outdoor luxury accommodation to house up to 32 of your guests. This consists of five yurts, one dome tent and two safari lodges.
The yurts and the dome each include a double bed and a double futon, whilst the safari lodges feature a double bed and two singles.
There are toilet and kitchen facilities on-site as well as a quiet campfire area where your family and friends can unwind after a busy evening of feasting, drinking and dancing.
