History

As a Grade II listed house, some features date back to the 1640's giving the house it's natural charm. Prince Hill House is believed to have played host to Prince Rupert when he fought on the side of the Royalists during the Battle of Bristol in 1643. From 1911-1914 the house and garden were remodelled by the Peto family and later the ownership was passed to Lady Brassey, a godchild of Queen Victoria.

Prince Hill is now owned by David and Lucy Edsell and after renovating and decorating the entire house, cottages and gardens, the house is now restored to its original glory. As a family home, Prince Hill serves as a perfect setting for a classic countryside wedding.
