A fantastic venue for our family wedding. Great hosts and beautiful building and views.

When people heard we were getting married in Norfolk in February they were generally speaking, pretty shocked... but I think when they saw Mount Amelia they understood. The house and grounds are GORGEOUS and worked out as a (relatively) inexpensive and totally personal way to have our wedding. The owner Ben couldn't have been more helpful kind or understanding, throughout the procedure and getting to have our weekend over a few days (instead of one night) made it all the more memorable! The only disadvantage was needing to have our music off at a certain time, despite renting all available rooms, but we did understand that this would have been the case in any private venue.

All in all a wonderful wedding experience that the family are hoping we can repeat with another Easter or summer trip to Mount Amelia in the future!

Vicky and Ben were extremely helpful and very good communicators throughout the whole process from booking one year before to leaving on our final morning. We can't rate them highly enough and are truly grateful to them for letting us use their beautiful house.
Every single room was unique yet beautifully designed and everyone said how comfortable they were. Every guest felt as if they had a little piece of luxury and even our family members who stayed in the cottages were delighted with their accommodation.
The main house is exquisite yet homely. The 17 of us who stayed in the main house enjoyed cooking breakfast together in the kitchen followed by eating together in the dining room. It was so comfortable and welcoming. We loved every minute of our break and can't wait to go back again.
We wish you could bottle Mount Amelia!
