Choosing your first dance song is totally personal to each couple. Perhaps there was a song playing when your first met, or first kissed, or got engaged. However, if you\u2019re totally stumped or would simply like some inspiration, we\u2019re here to help.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve tried\nto narrow down the thousands of classic and popular love-songs into the ten\nfinest romantic ballads to be centrally featured at a wedding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly\nafter starting the list we came to the inevitable realisation that the whole process\nis absolutely impossible \u2013 but we pressed on regardless. You are very welcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hoptiludrop.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/images.wedding-music-secret.com\/posts\/loev_songs.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The list\nwe\u2019ve come up with is of course, completely subjective. There are hundreds of\nother superb ballads that could have made it, and we\u2019re sure they will be some\nfurious protests about those that we have inadvertently left out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we\nmentioned, of course your first dance song is personal to you and your partner\nand anything goes. It\u2019s your wedding day after all! However, we\u2019re here to\nprovide you with a little inspiration and perhaps even remind you of a couple\nof songs you\u2019d totally forgotten about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without\nfurther ado, let\u2019s get in to our top ten first dance wedding songs\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Let\u2019s Get It On \u2013 Marvin Gaye<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kicking\nthigs off we have Mr Marvin Gaye at his silky-smooth best. His velvet-textured\nvoice really expresses a world of emotion in this slow jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who is more\nfluent in the language of love than this incredible soul star! Although it\nmight seem like an obvious choice for a first dance song, it\u2019s a popular option\nfor a reason. The song isn\u2019t half bad\neither!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actually\nwritten by Prince, this hugely emotive song was a number one hit in 17\ndifferent countries! Your Song was re-popularised by its feature in\nthe film \u2018Moulin Rouge\u2019. Elvis\u2019 distinctive smoochy\nbaritone really conveys the true meaning of this song. Not everyone will have\nheard Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, but there is little doubting the emotion\nexpressed in the lyrics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Goo Goo Dolls - Iris [Official Music Video]\" width=\"770\" height=\"578\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NdYWuo9OFAw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A lovely\nromantic song without being too overbearing, it would be a great song dance\ninto your new chapter to. We\u2019re a big fan anyway. It makes for a lovely slow\ndance too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>All You Need Is Love \u2013 The Beatles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, The Beatles had to make it onto this\nlist somewhere. It might not be the easiest to dance to (1-2, 1-2, 1-2-3), but\nthe sentiment of the song is +-perfect for a wedding!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything about this song is in the title, and\nwhat more do you need on your wedding day except love?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Love Is All You Need - Beatles\" width=\"770\" height=\"578\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dsxtImDVMig?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Any of these classic romantic ballads would be a\nsuitable first dance song at a wedding.
