Sandy is the photographer behind Love In Focus. He is really into natural photos at weddings, looking for real moments that tell the genuine story of your day. He prides himself in taking beautiful images of people who hate having their photograph taken. With more than six years' experience as a professional wedding photographer, he will leave you with a series of gorgeous, natural shots so you can relive the day for the rest of your lives.

Sandy understands that a lot of people don't like having their picture taken and has a bunch of tricks up his sleeve to help with that. He has designed a technique for the engagement shoot that will take you from being a bit awkward in front of the camera to having fun and enjoying the process.

Sandy is an established wedding photographer based in Bristol. He has taken many hundreds of thousands of photographs at hundreds of weddings across the South West. He brings a wealth of experience to help solve any problems that may arise on your wedding day, from knowing how to take stunning photos in the rain to the trick to attaching a buttonhole!

Sandy understands that while the formal photos are important, you want to spend time enjoying your wedding. Instead of spending hours taking formal family shots, he prides himself in taking the necessary images quickly, leaving you to enjoy your big day. Meanwhile, he disappears into the background and quietly captures all the fun hidden moments.

The Photos

Sandy's photos are all about capturing the fun of the day but without hassling your guests. He likes to capture natural photos of real moments so he will never ask anyone to say "cheese". He believes that your wedding photos should reflect the happiness of the day and so he creates images that are bright and colourful. When editing the images, he goes for a timeless fashion rather than any particular trend, as this can make the photos look dated with time.

As a self-proclaimed photography geek, Sandy loves looking at new locations to work out the best place for photos. He spends a lot of time learning about new techniques to create stunning pictures with surprising effects.

Services

All his weddings include:

  • An initial meeting so he can understand what it is you want from your wedding photographs
  • An engagement photoshoot so you can gain confidence as a couple in front of the camera
  • An optional feedback and planning session to look at what worked from the engagement shoot and to look over the day's schedule
  • A relaxing wedding day enjoying yourself rather than worrying about the photos
  • Plenty of wonderful images of you and your guests having a great time

His price for a full day's coverage starts at £2500, and you can add gorgeous fine art albums featuring the best images from the day.

Presentation

All of your images will be saved to a private online gallery for you to send to friends and family. You will also receive copies of all the pictures at full resolution on a USB without a watermark, so you can print as many images as you like. As the files are full resolution, you can print them out large enough to plaster on a billboard, something Sandy fully encourages you to do.

He can also produce beautiful fine art albums, which he will be happy to show you at a meeting.
