Standing proud, this Grade-II listed sugar house has retained lots of its original 1700's features. It offers a relaxed yet sophisticated space for you to celebrate with your guests, as well as a selection of carefully thought out packages to chose from and an array of beautifully appointed bedrooms.



Hotel du Vin offers all couples the chance the book out the entire hotel, including 40 deluxe en-suite bedrooms. The grand, elegant venue offers a flexible selection of wedding and menu packages, and each couple will receive assistance from a dedicated wedding coordinator who will help them plan and realise their perfect day.

Beautifully restored from a terraced rank of Grade II-listed Georgian warehouses, this magnificent hotel is widely recognised for its award-winning bistro serving delicious, sophisticated dishes, presented with impeccable service.

The Lombard And Terrace

The largest of the four, The Lombard is a light and spacious room exuding plenty of character and style.  Featuring an elegant high-vaulted ceiling and original window arches, it is ideal for any wedding party with a lovely romantic atmosphere. The Terrace is the perfect private space for an outdoors drinks reception or just a quick breath of fresh air.

Le Pin

This exquisite gold-decorated room is perfect for more intimate ceremonies. The space was inspired by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and has the wow factory with beautifully adorned walls and decadent features.

The most intimate of all the function rooms, Lanson is decorated with beautifully depicted cherubs ranging across the ceiling. The space is perfect for any decadent occasion.

Library And Janneau Bar

These two rooms are licensed to host ceremonies and wedding breakfasts for up to 44 guests, with a huge 120 in the evening. This is a truly stunning setup, featuring exposed brickwork and a private bar that promises to keep your party going late into the night!

During the summer months, couples are welcome to make use of the secluded and pretty courtyard to hold their drinks and canapés reception, and then pose for those all-important wedding photos!


Hotel du Vin offers a selection of flexible packages, and every couple will receive the help of a dedicated wedding planner, who will help to organise the day and find the perfect specialist suppliers

Exquisite wedding packages available from £55 per person inclusive of glass of Champagne on arrival, three course meal and half a bottle of wine per person.

Exclusive Use - Should you wish to have exclusive use of the entire venue, Hotel du Vin can allow couples the use of the bar, bistro, wine cellar, courtyard, four private function rooms and all 40 bedrooms!

To Start

  • French onion soup -  Served with a crusted Gruyère crouton
  • Scottish smoked salmon - Dressed with eggs, capers, gherkin and shallots
  • Chicken liver parfait - Served with toasted brioche and raisin chutney
  • Gazpacho - Chilled tangy tomato soup, garnished with cucumber, red peppers and brioche croutons
  • Bayonne ham and Charentais melon
  • Steak tartare - Finely-chopped Scottish rump steak mixed with seasonings and raw egg

  • Seared salmon - Served on a bed of warm salad Niçoise

  • Lemon sole meunière - Pan-fried lemon sole, served with a butter and caper sauce
  • Roast lamb rump - Served with a broad bean, pea and baby onion fricassée
  • Roast cod with buttered leeks and salsa verde - Salsa of olive oil, garlic, capers, parsley and cucumber
  • Half Normandy chicken - With a jus rôti
  • Smoked haddock fishcake, sauce messine - With fine herbs and a shallot cream sauce
  • Steak haché, fried duck egg and bois bourdain - Chopped Scottish steak, bound with onions, parsley, char-grilled and served with potato rosti and a tomato relish
  • Risotto Milanese - Carnaroli rice with sweet peas and baby spinach
