Funk Machine

Performing all your favourite dance tracks from the '70s to the modern day, Funk Machine brings real energy to every performance and are guaranteed to get all your guests onto the dance floor. This versatile four-piece band has a repertoire that includes disco, funk, soul, modern rock and pop.

An experienced and talented group, the band has 15 years' experience of thrilling audiences at weddings, corporate events and fundraisers. Past clients include the BBC, EE and Bristol University.

Performance

The band performs 2 x 60 minute sets of full on dance music in a 3 and a half hour period. Gorgeous Gemma fronts the band with incredible vocals, supported by the keyboard, the occasional flute solo, funky bass and drums.

The band can also be booked as a five-piece, adding on a brass section (including trumpet, sax and trombone) for a further funk and soul sound.

The emphasis is on dancing and the repertoire includes all the best dance floor fillers from the 1970s to the present day. Look forward to the best sing alongs with "Blame it On The Boogie" to "I Predict A Riot" to "Signed Sealed Delivered"!

Service

You can be sure that your wedding reception party is in safe hands with Funk Machine in charge! The band brings a PA system and stage lighting and provides background music through the PA and in the breaks between live sets.

Contact the band to discuss sizes and set lists. All price quotes are bespoke and travel costs depend on the chosen act. Arrival time is generally around 6pm, with finish times aiming to be around midnight.
