History Dating back to the 1700's, the house was built upon a picturesque piece of land was erected by Willoughby Lacey. With largely Georgian style architecture, along with classical Greek influences, this building was quite the eye catcher. However, by 1904 it was demolished as its once bold look had become out of date. The current building was built in 1908 by Sir Ernest George (the Eton of Architects) with Elizabethan influences and a Jacobean style interior. In 2005 the property was acquired by Cathedral Group, who invested large sums of money to begin a restoration process. Eynsham Hall is now a gorgeous venue that is a truly inspirational location in which to host a wonderful, romantic wedding.
