Having worked in the traditional marque industry for several years, The Cornish Tent Co. wanted to branch out and find something a bit more unique and different. Searching for something that combined their love of the outdoors and a Cornish lifestyle, they came across a Californian sailcloth marquee on a trip to LA. Now they are one of very few companies in the UK to provide sail cloth marques.

The Cornish Tent company personally select and import sailcloth marquees and source their own tipis. Offering more than just marquees, they provide you with their dedicated services and help with everything including inspiring decoration ideas. They liaise with third parties to help bring everything together for you.

The Cornish tent company have giant hat tipis for hire. These are absolutely perfect for those wanting a cosy and intimate event. The tipis can interlink for much bigger parties making enough space for up to 1000 seated guests! The connected tipis can form any shape. The light-coloured canvas is visually beautiful and adds a gorgeous rustic style to your wedding.

The tipi takes a traditional form with the sides down, the sides can be rolled up to create more freedom for guests to enjoy the views. It also increases space making the tipi much larger where the sides are rolled. Its flexible and can even be built on hard standing ground. For a welcoming feel in the winter months, add a wooden door entrance and a warming fire pit that creates a chilled-out atmosphere.

Sailcloth Marquee

Have the perfect Cornish wedding and hire their stunning and unique marquee crafted from sail fabric. It complements any setting with clear side panels that create a floaty and romantic picture. The sail fabric is much more authentic than the traditional PVC and are more visually pleasing. The windows are completely clear, meaning your beautiful location can be seen from all angles of the marquee. The poles holding up the structure have a teak grain finish which complement any design. Half suns and stripes feature on the fabric's interior, another lovely touch.

The products they use to clean the tipis and marquees are made from natural products that don't harm the earth. They make sure they use only LED lighting where possible and source fuel-efficient generators. They also recycle absolutely everything they can as much as possible.
