About
Hornsbury Mill was constructed from local flint and fine honey-coloured Ham stone, and although recently extensively restored, has retained many of its original features. The fantastic working watermill, for example, makes a stunning backdrop for unique wedding photographs, as does the mill's four acres of picturesque parkland, now populated with free-roaming peacocks.
Two separate locations are currently licensed to host civil marriage and partnership ceremonies: the romantic, candlelit, atmospheric Corn Loft, and the idyllic lakeside Gazebo with stunning views over the landscaped gardens. Both the Gazebo and the Corn Loft have brilliant PA systems through which background music can be played, or you could hire live musicians to play you up the aisle.
Included in the cost of a wedding ceremony is exclusive use of the Lakeside Suite or Wheelroom for your wedding breakfast, the Lakeside Suite for an evening reception celebration, and a complimentary bridal suite.
Self-contained with its own bar and beautiful lakeside terrace with panoramic garden views, The Lakeside Suite can seat up to 80 guests for a wedding breakfast, with an additional 40 in an adjoining marquee, and up to 200 for an evening reception with a live band and/or a DJ.
Featuring a working watermill, The Wheelroom can seat up to 40 guests for a slightly more compact wedding breakfast, and to host even more intimate celebrations, the cosy Coachroom is perfect.
After the evening party, your nearest and dearest can stay over in one of Hornsbury Mill's nine luxurious bedrooms, without having to worry about the long drive home!
Meet with Hornsbury Mill's experienced wedding coordinator well before the big day to discuss your exact wishes and requirements, and a bespoke package can then be created especially for you.
